Timeless, Classic Fashion: The Way To Go…

When it comes right down to it, all of fashion is driven from the timeless and classic fashion that has been around for years and years.  Yet in this day and age, so many designers are throwing out the timeless and classic fashion for the new and futuristic fashion.  There is something so simple, so comforting and just something so amazing about a simple and timeless piece of clothing.  For instance, the little black dress, this piece is a fantastic description of classic fashion.  The little black dress has been around since the twenties and there are so many different versions of this fashion icon, it is crazy.

There are a few other classic pieces that many designers forget about and are constantly trying to improve.  For instance, a pair of old and worn jeans paired with an old and worn tee shirt is a classic look for many people and it is definitely one of those looks that does not need improvement, rather it just needs to be left alone.

There are some color choices that are classic in fashion as well, for instance black, khaki tan, green and blue are just a few of the colors that will never, ever go out of style and will always be extremely classic in fashion.  A few other brighter colors are red, white and many of the lighter pastel colors are usually used in the updated versions of classic fashion. 

When working with classic fashion, it is extremely important to remember all sorts of fashion icons.  The little black dress for instance, the traditional suit for a man or a woman or even a simple blouse are just a few more examples of how classic fashion can flow from outfit to outfit effortlessly. 

There are also classic fashions for each of the seasons as well, for example, black is a very traditional color when it comes to the wintertime.  Black jackets, blouses, hats, shoes and even skirts usually tend to pop up everywhere in the wintertime, then in the summertime people ditch their black and slide into some color.  The brighter reds, greens and blues always seem to make their stamp in the summertime. 

While many classic items do not need to change, designers are constantly looking for an outlet for their creativity and most of them turn toward some of the very timeless items and to be honest, some of the styles they have transformed are simply amazing.  So while you may be looking to keep your little black dress just how it is, it may be worth taking a second look at the runway to see exactly what the designers have come up with; jeans are also taking on new shapes as well. 

The classic tee shirt and jeans are now being transformed and updated completely.  While these items are absolutely classic and timeless, there is no harm or foul in taking a look at the runway to see exactly what the new style may be.
